New Music Round Up: May 2018!

With the thrill ride that was Eurovision 2018 now over us, we look towards new music from our past contestants. Hot off the heels of their appearance this year, we get new tracks from UK artist SuRie, Italy’s Ermal Meta and Armenian representative Sevak Khanagyan. Also joining the May line up of new music is 2017 Eurovision champ Salvador Sobral, Austria’s Nathan Trent who teams up with J-MOX, Belgian artist Blanche, Sweden’s Robin Bengtsson and a duet from Melfest winner and runner up (and best mates) Benjamin Ingrosso and Felix Sandman.  Continue reading

Eurovision World Cup: Semi Final Results

You have been voting all week in the two match ups that saw Ireland’s Nicky Byrne compete against Austria’s Zoe, while Eneda Tarifa for Albania duked it out with Amir for France. Eurovision World Cup: Semi Final 2: Austria v Ireland

In the second of the semi final matches of the Eurovision World Cup we will see Austria take on Ireland. Austria’s Zoe topped group D with 32% of the vote, beat San Marino in the knock out stages with 76% and then last week conquered Greece with 60%. Ireland’s Nicky Byrne meanwhile also topped his group (Group F) with 63% of the vote, beat the Netherlands with 85% of the vote to advance to the Quarter Finals where they defeated Russia with 76% of the vote.
