For the past few weeks we have been asking for your input to help us select our favourite songs from Eurovision stars that were released in 2019. We have compiled a Top 40 and now it’s time for us to share this with you. Yesterday we revealed the songs 40-31. Now it’s time for the songs numbers 30-21.
This week saw the third group in our annual competition to find the top 40 songs from former Eurovision stars in 2019. This set of 16 contenders were posted on Monday and you have been voting for your favourites. It’s now time to reveal the results and announce which five songs have made it through to the final 40.

‘We are sad to announce that Bulgaria withdraws from #Eurovision. The decision is based on financial reasons because the costs of the project far exceed the financial capacity of BNT according to the Management of the broadcaster’, reads a statement from the Bulgarian national broadcaster BNT earlier in the week.

Bulgaria are a nation whose Eurovision stock is on the rise. Since a two year absence from 2014-2015, they have achieved a fourth place and a second place finish for Poli Genova and Kristian Kostov respectively. Everyone has therefore been waiting with bated breath to see who their pick would be for 2018. And man did they drag it out to the last minute! The last possible day before the deadline for entrants to be confirmed and Bulgaria breaks their silence announcing that Equinox will be their choice for Eurovision in May this year.
