For the past eight weeks you have been participating in selecting our favourite songs from former Eurovision contestants released in 2017. On Sunday we revealed the final 40 songs still in contention for the title and today we paused the poll, verified the results and can now reveal the songs that have made it to the top 10. It’s a new year and that means not only are we awaiting the revelation of all this year’s Eurovision contenders, but Eurovision artists from years gone by have also been busy in the studio recording new music. Here’s some of the hits released in January! Included in the list is two time Iceland representative Greta Salome, two time Hungarian singer Donny Montell, Monika Linkyte from Lithuania and British duo Joe and Jake and a solo single from Alex Larke from Electro Velvet!
Some of our favourite Eurovision stars from recent years have all dropped new singles this week. This include Russia’s 2008 winner Dima Bilan who returns with song ‘Monsters in Your Head’, 2013 Swedish singer Robin Stjenberg who has released ‘Feed On My Love’, Poland’s Cleo is back with ‘Echo’ and Macedonia two time representative Kaliopi releases new single ‘Rodjendan’. As well as that we have new songs from Joe and Jake (United Kingdom, 2016), Greta Salome, (Iceland, 2016) and Donny Montell (Lithuania, 2012 and 2016).
