The Cypriot band Minus One have unveiled the video for their latest single. The song is called ‘Invincible’ and follows the band’s appearance at Eurovision 2016 where the finished in 21st place with ‘Alter Ego’ and their song ‘The Potato Song (I Just Wanna Dance)’. Belarus chose Navi Band to represent them at Eurovision 2017. Since their selection in early January, the band have been doing the rounds on other countries’ national selection shows. Last week, they appeared on one of the Ukrainian heats and after a chat with Jamala, they revealed that they had prepared their own version of the reigning Eurovision champion’s winning song ‘1944’.
Rykka represented Switzerland at Eurovision 2016 with song ‘The Last of Our Kind’. The song didn’t make it through the semi final stages, however the Vancouver-born singer’s follow up single ‘Bad Boy’ was one of our favourite songs from 2016, finishing second in our countdown of the year. Over the past nine weeks we’ve been taking a look at all the songs released by Eurovision participants throughout this year and have been asking you for your input by voting for your favourites. Earlier this week we revealed the 30 songs that made it into our top 30. The poll closed momentarily at midday today and having collated the results we can reveal which songs gained the fewest votes and finished in the positions 11-20.
