For the past few weeks we have been asking for your input to help us select our favourite songs from Eurovision stars that were released in 2019. We have compiled a Top 40 and now it’s time for us to share this with you. We have already revealed the songs 40-31 and 30-21. Now it’s time for the songs numbers 20-11.
This week saw the fifth group in our annual competition to find the top 40 songs from former Eurovision stars in 2019. This set of 16 contenders were posted on Monday and you have been voting for your favourites. It’s now time to reveal the results and announce which five songs have made it through to the final 40.
This week digital music streaming service Spotify released its annual ‘Wrapped’ feature which allows subscribers to view which songs, artists and genres of music have been their most listened to throughout the year. No surprises that 100% of our most listened to songs in 2019 were by Eurovision artists or artists from Eurovision selection shows. Read on to find out which made our top 100 most streamed songs.

Miki won the Eurovision Gala show of reality TV competition ‘Operacion Triunfo’ back in January. Although he competed with two songs, ‘La Venda’ was the most popular and it won outright, advancing to Eurovision for Spain. This is what we think of it.

Group B saw Victor Crone, Miki, KEiiNO, Lake Malawi and Roko Blazevic do battle for Estonia, Spain, Norway, Czech Republic and Croatia respectively for the two spots in the next round. Spain were one of the first countries to choose their Eurovision act back in January when their selection show Operacion Triunfo concluded and Miki being crowned the winner. The song that won him the crown was ‘La Venda’ and after a few months they have decided to give the song a fresh lick of paint with a new version along with a new music video. Check it out below!
