For the past few weeks we have been asking for your input to help us select our favourite songs from Eurovision stars that were released in 2019. We have compiled a Top 40 and now it’s time for us to share this with you. Here are the songs numbers 40-31.
This week saw the fifth group in our annual competition to find the top 40 songs from former Eurovision stars in 2019. This set of 16 contenders were posted on Monday and you have been voting for your favourites. It’s now time to reveal the results and announce which five songs have made it through to the final 40.
The fifth group of Eurovision NI’s Song of 2019 takes place this week. This week’s picks include tracks from Eurovision faves Mikolas Josef, Loic Nottet, Emma Marrone and Slavko as well as 2010 winner Lena and Dutch girl band O’G3NE. Check out all sixteen songs below and vote for your five favourites in the poll. The vote will close at midnight on Saturday and results revealed on Sunday.
Ukraine has used a selection show called Vidbir to select its act and song for Eurovision since 2016. It seemed to work for the nation as it gave them their second ever Eurovision victory with Jamala’s ‘1944’ winning the Contest that year. 2017 and 2018 were also a success with O. Torvald and Melovin making it to the finals with ‘Time’ and ‘Under the Ladder’. This week Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC revealed that the selection show will return in 2019 and have given us some of the initial details.Continue reading
