Eliot Vassamillet was one of the first artists to be announced for Eurovision 2019 when Belgium chose him back in December. Since then it has been very quiet, until today when the Belgian broadcaster revealed his Eurovision song which is called ‘Wake Up’.

Eliot Vassamillet becomes the fourth artist to be confirmed for Eurovision 2019. The Belgian broadcaster RTBF confirmed his participation this morning, announcing that the 18 year old is to represent the nation in Tel Aviv in May.

Well well well, hasn’t the world of Eurovision been a busy one this week. Not only did we have the conclusion of national final season with the staging of the remaining selection shows, but the previously announced artists came out in force unveiling music videos for their Eurovision songs or debuting them for the first time. Belgium will be represented at Eurovision 2017 by singer Blanche. She was one of the first acts to be chosen, and today the Belgian broadcaster announced that she will sing the song ‘City Lights’ in Kiev.
