For the past eight weeks you have been participating in selecting our favourite songs from former Eurovision contestants released in 2017. On Sunday we revealed the final 40 songs still in contention for the title and today we paused the poll, verified the results and can now reveal the songs that have finished 40 to 31. This week you have been voting in the second group of songs to determine which song will be named our favourite song of 2016 from previous Eurovision contestants. The poll closed last night and we can now reveal the results.
Over the next nine weeks we will be looking closely at some of the songs released in 2016 by former Eurovision contestants. We will be asking you to vote for your favourite from the lists before compiling a final Top 30 just before the end of the year.
Following an initmate gig at St Anne’s Cathedral as part of Belfast’s Culture Night last week, Molly Sterling has revealed a music video for song ‘Ghost In My Bedroom’. The video was shot at Mountstewart Estate and Gardens near the town of Newtownabbey, which is a National Trust property and was also used as one of the filming locations for ‘Dracula: Untold’. First vampires, and now ghosts! Spooky!

Irish Eurovision 2015 singer Molly Sterling treated her Belfast audience to new music on Friday afternoon in a gig which formed part of the city’s 2016 Culture Night programme. The ‘Playing With Numbers’ singer took to the stage (or should that be altar) in St. Anne’s Cathedral to trial some of the new songs she had recently penned.
Irish singer Molly Sterling has confirmed on her Facebook page today that she will perform at Belfast Culture Night on Friday 16th September.
