Il Volo Release Tribute Album to Three Tenors!

Il Volo, Italy, Eurovision 2016Italian Operatic boy band, Il Volo serenaded us back in Eurovision 2015 when they came third with ‘Grande Amore’. Russia Still on Top of Our Eurovision 2015 Top 40 Poll (Week 4)

This week saw the results of our fourth Top 40 Poll and it was Russia’s Polina Gagarina who came out on top again for the third week in a row. Not much has changed in the Top 5 with Italy still in second place, Spain and Slovenia swapping places, now in third and fourth respectively and Maria Olafs from Iceland rounds up the top five, remaining in fifth.Read on to see the Top 40 in full. Review: Italy- Il Volo “Grande Amore”

Il Volo Italy Eurovision 2015

Il Volo probably had the toughest journey in their quest to be chosen as their country’s national representative at Eurovision 2015. They had to battle it out over a week of concerts against over 20 other competitors in Sanremo 2015, which was the contest that Eurovision drew its inspiration from. Shortly after winning the concert, Il Volo announced that they would accept the invitation to be the Italian entry for 2015 and that their song would be ‘Grande Amore’.  Continue reading
