il voloFor the last seven weeks you have been voting in our Top 40 Poll to see which of the 40 songs from the class of 2015 are your favourites. This is the last top 40 that we will do before the Eurovision Final on Saturday. We have decided for the last week before Eurovision that we will whittle the contenders down to the top 10. So the ten most popular over all (listed and emboldened below) will advance to the poll for the final week. Be sure to vote below for your favourite.

Russia Still on Top of Our Eurovision 2015 Top 40 Poll (Week 4)

This week saw the results of our fourth Top 40 Poll and it was Russia’s Polina Gagarina who came out on top again for the third week in a row. Not much has changed in the Top 5 with Italy still in second place, Spain and Slovenia swapping places, now in third and fourth respectively and Maria Olafs from Iceland rounds up the top five, remaining in fifth.Read on to see the Top 40 in full. This week saw the results of our third Top 40 Poll and it was Russia’s Polina Gagarina who came out on top for a second week in a row. Not much has changed in the Top 5 with Italy still in second place, Slovenia still in third, Spain still in fourth, but this week saw Iceland’s Maria Olafs climb six places to fifth with her song ‘Unbroken’. Review: Slovenia- Maraaya ‘Here For You’

Slovenia’s entry for 2015 is Maraaya, the name a portmanteau of duo’s names  Marjetka Vovk and Aleš Vovk aka”Raay”. Their song ‘Here For You’ was chosen in the Slovene national final in February and since then has gone on to be the first song to sit atop the poll in our Top 40, two weeks ago.

Slovenia choose Maraaya ‘Here For You’ for Eurovision 2015

Evrovizijska melodija (EMA) concluded tonight as Slovenia chose Maraaya and her song ‘Here For You’ to represent them at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in May. The national contest saw eight artists compete in the live broadcast from Ljubljana with Maraaya pipping Rudi Bucar’s ‘Saltinka’ to the post in the final two. Other acts missing out on the prize were Alya and Neno Belan, Time Kores, I.C.E., Clemens, Jana Sustersic and Martina Majerle.
