Yesterday Spain revealed the three songs which topped the public vote and would advance to the Operacion Triunfo Eurovision Gala. Now they have added the seven remaining songs to this line up following the jury deliberations. Check out the full line up below!
Last night the voting closed in the public online poll for RTVE’s Operacion Triunfo and the first three acts have been determined for the Eurovision Gala show in a few weeks’ time, the show that will choose Spain’s Eurovision artist and song for 2019.
The Spanish TV show Operacion Triunfo will return later this month for their Eurovision Gala. This will be the format that the nation use to select their Eurovision 2019 entry. Last month 17 songs were divided up between the contestants in a combination of solo performers, duos and groups. Three of the final ten songs that will feature in the Eurovision Gala episode will be chosen by the public and the remaining seven by a panel of experts. The public vote closed today and ahead of that we weigh in by ranking the 17 songs from our least favourite to our favourite. Read on to find out what we thought!
Last night Famous was voted as the winner of Spanish reality TV talent competition Operacion Triunfo when the competition concluded with its final episode. The show will return on Boxing Day for a Christmas Gala and again in January when some of the students will be invited back to compete for the chance to represent Spain at Eurovision 2019. Spanish broadcaster RTVE revealed the titles of the 17 songs and line up for the show last week but today they have given us the first preview of the songs. Read on to hear the one minute snippets!

Spain’s popular reality talent competition Operacion Triunfo made its return to our screens last year and served as the selection show for the Spanish Eurovision entry for 2018. Due to the success of Alfred y Amaia, broadcaster RTVE have decided to use the format again for Eurovision 2019.
Italian Operatic boy band, Il Volo serenaded us back in Eurovision 2015 when they came third with ‘Grande Amore’. Since then the trio have been working on a new album entitled ‘Notte Magica’ which is a tribute to the Three Tenors (Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo and José Carreras).
Iceland have revealed the official video for their 2015 entry ‘Unbroken’. The video sees singer Maria Olafs belt out her power ballad accompanied by very interesting use of lighting to reflects the song’s lyrics of ‘stepping out of the darkness and into the light forever’.
The video also sees the inclusion of the two ballet dancers from her live performance flouncing out of nowhere and dancing in time to Olafs’ vocals.
