Our favourite Irish Eurovision twins Jedward have made a jepic return to the Celebrity Big Brother this weekend for the show’s nineteenth season which pits All Stars against New Stars.
As we enter 2017, Eurovision national finals are in full flow. To keep you up to date with all the Eurovision happenings, we have brought back our feature; ’15 Things We Learned This Week’ which we will continue to post every Sunday evening to recap the Eurovision news for the past week! So without further ado, here is the 15 things we learned this week…
Over the next nine weeks we will be looking closely at some of the songs released in 2016 by former Eurovision contestants. We will be asking you to vote for your favourite from the lists before compiling a final Top 30 just before the end of the year.
On Sunday night the 14th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest took place in Malta’s Mediterranean Conference Centre in the city’s capital Valletta. The competition was won by Georgia’s Mariam Mamadashvili and her song ‘Mzeo’. The result means that Georgia are now the most successful nation at Junior Eurovision having also won in 2008 and 2011.
Everybody’s favourite Irish twin singing duo Jedward have unveiled the music video for their new song ‘Hologram’. The song is true to form with a poppy/dance feel, catchy lyrics and the music video is just as fun with the boys dying their hair blue and larking about like they usually do, this time in snow! If you like their two Eurovision attempts ‘Lipstick’ and ‘Waterline’, then you’ll love ‘Hologram’. Check it out below.
