Italy Reveal The 24 Acts for Sanremo 2019!

Italian broadcaster RAI moved the new artists portion of the Sanremo festival to December. This competition played out over the last few nights and was won by Mahmood and Einar. They will join the other 22 artists for the Big Artists part of the Sanremo Festival in February. Il Volo Release Tribute Album to Three Tenors!

Sanremo 2016: Night 2 Results

Sanremo Italy Eurovision 2016The second of Italy’s Sanremo shows took place last night with ten more of the big artist acts perfroming. Of these ten,  six came top of the rankings while the other four were at risk of being eliminated. In addition to this the first of the new artists performed in ‘battles’. Four of these acts faced off against each other, with two progressing to the final and two getting eliminated. The overall winner will be crowned on Saturday on the final evening and will be given first refusal at representing Italy at Eurovision 2016.
