The results of San Marino’s 1in360 second wildcard vote is in! Italian singer Giovanni Montalbano will join Finnish singer Emma in the live online shows of the San Marinese selection process in January. 

Emma is San Marino’s First Wildcard!

The results of San Marino’s 1in360 first wildcard vote is in! The place has been snapped up by Finnish singer Emma. Emma will be one of three wildcards that will be chosen to progress to the live final stage of the San Marino selection in January. The three wildcards will be joined by up to seven other contenders to be chosen by a panel of experts.

San Marino’s 1 in 360 Longlist Revealed!

San Marino’s quest to find a Eurovision star for 2018 got under way last month with the launch of the online selection process 1in360. The website and broadcaster have released a long list of applicants who have progressed to the next stage and there are a few familiar faces among the contenders. 

It’s Ilinca and Alex Florea for Romania!

Romania’s national final took place earlier this evening, crowning Ilinca and Alex Florea’s song ‘Yodel It!’ as the winner. They will go on to represent the country in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. This follows last year’s controversial decision to disqualify Romania for not paying outstanding broadcasting debts with the EBU.

With the debacle of last year’s disqualification well and truly behind them, Romania kicked off their Eurovision 2017 bid tonight with the semi final of their national selection show Selecta Nationala. 

Romania Reveals Artists and Songs for 2017 National Final!

Romania will be hoping to put last year’s disqualification due to an inability to pay debts to EBU behind them when their national selection show Selecția Națională 2017 kicks off with the first of its shows, the semi final, on 26th February. 

Finland opt for Norma John!

Tonight Finland staged their selection show for Eurovision 2017 UMK. In a show hosted by fan favourite Krista Siegfrids, the nation selected Norma John as their representative who will perform their winning song ‘Blackbird’ in Kiev in May.
