As most of the Eurovision 2017 selection shows draw to a close, some of the Eurovision stars from the past few years have been busy releasing some new material. Check out our New Music Round Up for March 2017! Included in the mix are new songs from Russia’s Sergey Lazarev, Debrah Scarlett from Norway, Iceland’s Greta Salome, Barei from Spain, while Loreen returns to Swedish selection show Melodifestivalen with ‘Statements’!
It’s a new year and that means not only are we awaiting the revelation of all this year’s Eurovision contenders, but Eurovision artists from years gone by have also been busy in the studio recording new music. Here’s some of the hits released in January! Included in the list is two time Iceland representative Greta Salome, two time Hungarian singer Donny Montell, Monika Linkyte from Lithuania and British duo Joe and Jake and a solo single from Alex Larke from Electro Velvet!
Over the past week and a half we have been gradually unveiling our top 100 songs from the last ten years of Eurovision (2007-2016). Now that all has been revealed, here is the full countdown from number 100 to number one!
Greta Salome returns to Eurovision in 2016 for Iceland having competed in 2012 alongside Jonsi. Their song ‘Never Forget’ made it to the final and finished in 20th place with 46 points. 16 countries have advanced to the knockout stages of the Eurovision world cup. In this match we will see Albania’s Eneda Tarifa compete against Iceland’s Greta Salome. Listen to both entries below and vote for your favourite in our poll. Only one song can advance. Voting closes on Sunday 24th April.
