Finland opt for Norma John!

UMK Finland 2017 EurovisionTonight Finland staged their selection show for Eurovision 2017 UMK. In a show hosted by fan favourite Krista Siegfrids, the nation selected Norma John as their representative who will perform their winning song ‘Blackbird’ in Kiev in May.

The show kicked off with a performance from Krista Siegfrids who sang ‘UMG Bitches’ and also treated us to a number of interesting costume changes through out the night.

Ten songs were in the running for the Finnish selection show which aired earlier this evening and following the delivery of the results from the international juries, it seemed to be Norma John’s to lose. Their song ‘Black Bird’ lead the nearest rival Zuhlke’s ‘Perfect Villain’ by 20 points.

When the public vote was added to the points, they held on to their lead and Norma John’s song ‘Blackbird’ was declared the winner. Finishing in second place was Zuhlke, while Emma finished in third place with ‘Circle of Light’.
