Today the acts from Serbia, Hungary, Belarus, Russia, Denmark, Albania, Romania and Georgia all got the chance to have their first practice run through on the Eurovision stage. Today say the first round of rehearsals for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. The Wiener Stadhalle welcomed the first batch of Eurovision hopefuls who got to perform on stage for the first time and see how their songs would sound in the live environment of the arena. The 2015 Eurovision stage at Vienna’s Wiener Stadhalle Arena was completed earlier today. Work began on the stage late last week and it is now fully assembled and ready to receive the 40 acts vying to win the contest for their country next month. The official program of events for Eurovision 2015 was released earlier this week and will see the area around host venue Wiener Stadhalle transformed into the Eurovision Village from 17th May. The village will be a special area where fans can interact with other fans visiting from all over the world, can watch the live shows streamed in large public spaces on giant screens and participate in Eurovision events from quizzes, performances and even a Conchita Wurst look-a-like competition.
