Lena’s ‘Satellite’ has topped our third heat in our quest to determine the best Eurovision song ever with 52.78% of the vote. Lena will progress to the Semi Finals along with Ell and Niki whose song ‘Running Scared’ came in second place with 22.22% of the vote, Eric Saade’s ‘Popular’ and Dima Bilan’s ‘Believe’ which finished third and fourth respectively with 11.11 and 8.33% of the vote.

It’s that time of the week again! Time to get your vote on! Who will you select from this third of four heats to go through to our semi finals in March? Will Eric Saade be Popular amongst voters? Will Ell and Niki be Running Scared at the results? Does Eimear Quinn have The Voice to make it through?
Last year we pitted all the 2014 Eurovision songs against each other in our Twitter Battles to see which song was your favourite. In the end we crowned Swedish entry Sanna Nielsen’s ‘Undo’ as the Twitter champion. When all the acts have been announced we will do the same this year again, but in the meantime we want to find out which is your favourite Eurovision song of all time. I picked what I thought was the 32 best Eurovision songs over the last 59 years, which was a difficult enough task in itself. It consists of 26 former winners and 6 songs which just missed out on the top position.

Eurovision has launched the career of many pop greats, but some come to the competition with already some fame in the bag and this was the case in 2003 when Russian duo t.A.T.u took to Europe’s biggest stage. They didn’t manage to win, but nevertheless they impressed with song ‘Nye Ver, Nye Boysa’. You can listen to it below:
