Saara Aalto was one of the first Eurovision participants announced for Eurovision 2018 when Finnish broadcaster Yle announced she would be their pick for Lisbon in May. Earlier this evening Saara showcased three possible songs for Eurovision 2018 and they went with ‘Monsters’.
The last few years the UK have selected a well known person or group to represent them at Eurovision. We’ve had power ballad Queen Bonnie Tyler, boy band legends Blue and crooner Englebert Humperdink. The UK entry is selected by a committee and not voted for by the public so there was never a list of competitors or any live shows with competing entries battling out, so this article is based on some of the rumours we’d heard.
