Eight acts qualified from the semi finals to compete in the final of France’s Eurovision selection extravaganza this evening. Only one could be named the winner of Destination Eurovision 2019. That honour went to Bilal Hassani. He will sing the song ‘Roi’ in Tel Aviv for France, penned by last year’s winners Madame Monsieur.
Tonight France continued their bid to win Eurovision 2019 when they aired the second of their Destination Eurovision shows. Nine acts competed in this the second semi final, but only four could make it through to next week’s final.
France will decide their Eurovision 2019 act and song on 26 January when they host the final of Destination Eurovision. Before that we have two semi finals to look forward to in the upcoming weeks where 18 singers will perform in front of an expert panel made up of Christophe Willem, André Manoukian and Vitaa.
