Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG have confirmed that the nation will not compete in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The decision was confirmed following whispers on a number of Eurovision fan blogs that this may be the case.

Earlier this evening Montenegro hosted their Eurovision final for 2018. Five songs battled it out for the honour, but the winner was Vanja Radovanovic. He will go on to sing his song ‘Inje’ at Eurovision 2018 in the hopes of giving Montenegro one of their best results to date!
Montenegro have finalised the five acts and songs that will take place in their Eurovision selection show for 2018. RTCG will host the grand final of Montevizijos on 17 February. Here are the acts taking part:
Montenegrin broadcaster RTCG have reportedly decided a change in tact for Eurovision 2018. Moving away from their internal selection method which they have employed since 2009. The broadcaster will instead launch a remounted selection show entitled Montevizija for 2018.
