Greece is one of the most successful Eurovision nations of the twenty first century. In those fifteen years Greece has accomplished ten top ten finishes including three third places with Antique (2001), Sakis Rouvas (2004) and Kalomira (2008) and of course their only win to date in 2004 with Elena Paparizou’s ‘My Number One’. Since the semi finals were introduced in 2004, Greece has qualified every year. Their most recent attempt in 2015 was Maria Elena Kyriakou who finished in 19th place with her song ‘One Last Breath’.
