Ira Losco will represent Malta at Eurovision for a second time in 2016 with ‘Chameleon (Invincible)’. The singer was chosen as the nation’s representative following the final of MESC tonight which saw 14 acts in contention for the Maltese selection.
Last night Malta staged the first of their live shows in order to get one step closer to crowning the act and song that will represent them in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. Twenty songs were in contention and each performer took to the MESC stage in the hope of getting chosen. Six of these acts were eliminated from the contest, while the other 14 continue on, and will perform in tonight’s final. Read on to find out the results.
Our readers reckon it should be Jasmine Abela and her song ‘Alive’ that Malta should choose as their Eurovision entry for 2016. Jasmine topped the poll with 38% of the vote, while Christabelle Borg, Raquel Galdes, Dominic, Corazon and Ira Losco came joint second with 13%.Continue reading
