Sanremo Italy Eurovision 2016The second of Italy’s Sanremo shows took place last night with ten more of the big artist acts perfroming. Of these ten,  six came top of the rankings while the other four were at risk of being eliminated. In addition to this the first of the new artists performed in ‘battles’. Four of these acts faced off against each other, with two progressing to the final and two getting eliminated. The overall winner will be crowned on Saturday on the final evening and will be given first refusal at representing Italy at Eurovision 2016. Sanremo Italy Eurovision 2016Italy’s Sanremo Festival kicked off in style last night with evening one. As well as having superstar Elton John perform as part of the festivities, ten acts competed in the competition proper. Of these ten,  six came top of the rankings while the other four were at risk of being eliminated. The overall winner will be crowned on Saturday on the final evening and will be given first refusal at representing Italy at Eurovision 2016. Russia Still on Top of Our Eurovision 2015 Top 40 Poll (Week 4)

This week saw the results of our fourth Top 40 Poll and it was Russia’s Polina Gagarina who came out on top again for the third week in a row. Not much has changed in the Top 5 with Italy still in second place, Spain and Slovenia swapping places, now in third and fourth respectively and Maria Olafs from Iceland rounds up the top five, remaining in fifth.Read on to see the Top 40 in full.
