The MakeMakes are a three piece are made up of Dominic “Dodo” Muhrer, Markus Christ and Florian Meindl and were formed in 2012. Since their formation they have had a string of top ten hits in their native Austria including ‘The Lovercall’ and ‘Million Euro Smile’. Now they face their biggest task to date: defending the Eurovision title with their song ‘I Am Yours’.

Last night Eurovision reigning champions Austria made their 2015 Eurovision selection. After eliminating four of the six competing acts (Johann Sebastian Bass, Folkshilfe, Zoe and Celina Ann), it became a head to head between indie rock band DAWA and eventual winners The MakeMakes.
The winning song was called “I Am Yours” which won with an impressive 24 points combined international jury and public phone vote.
As host nation, Austria automatically qualifies for the Eurovision Grand Final on the 23 March in Vienna.
