As the first heat of the 2016 Melodifestivalen approaches we take a look back on the songs from last year. Mans Zelmerlow may have been crowned the winner of Melfest 2015 and went on to be the eventual winner of Eurovision in Vienna, but which of the other songs makes up our top 5? Read on to find out!
The results are in from the last of the Melodifestivalen live shows before the final. The Swedish selection process saw eight songs given a second chance with four one on one battles which sent four acts through to the final and sent four acts home.
Now that all four heats of Melodifestivalen are over, our attention turns to the Second Chance show which will take place on Saturday 6th March. But which of the Swedish acts would you like to see progress to the live Final the following week. Tonight the first of the Melodifestivalen heats kicked off with a bang. Hosted by last year’s winner Sanna Nielssen and accompanied by Robin Paulsson, the show opened with the duo singing a parody of Nielssen’s winning song ‘Undo’.
Proceedings quickly moved straight to business with Molly Petersson kicking off the show with ‘I’ll Be Fine’ follwed by the second song ‘Pappa’ by Daniel Gildenlow.
