This week saw the results of our third Top 40 Poll and it was Russia’s Polina Gagarina who came out on top for a second week in a row. Not much has changed in the Top 5 with Italy still in second place, Slovenia still in third, Spain still in fourth, but this week saw Iceland’s Maria Olafs climb six places to fifth with her song ‘Unbroken’. This week really has been hectic with 5 national selections having been made last weekend. Not only that but other countries who had picked their finalists also revealed their songs, Melodifestivalen staged its fourth and final heat and the rumour mill has been working over time since the UK and Australia announced their national selection reveal dates.
