Iceland May Be Disqualified?

mariaConcerns have been raised that Iceland’s Eurovision Song Contest entry Maria Olafs may have to withdraw her song or could even get disqualified. The concerns come in the aftermath of a nationwide strike from the country’s lawyers that could continue well into May when the Eurovision is scheduled to take place. It will have an effect on the Icelandic Eurovision jury vote as these votes need to be notarised by a legal official. The strike would therefore be in breach of EBU rules. Continue reading
