A number of familiar Eurovision faces had been nominated for gongs at this year’s MTV European Music Awards in Bilbao. This included Nadav Guedj (Best Israeli Act), Zibbz (Best Swiss Act), Benjamin Ingrosso and Felix Sandmann (Best Swedish Act), Annalisa (Best Italian Act), Margaret (Best Polish Act) and Diogo Picarra (Best Portuguese Act). Claudia Pascoal Wins Festival Da Cancao 2018!

Reigning Eurovision champions Portugal continued their title defence when their national selection competition Festival da Cancao aired its final episode last night. Fourteen acts had advanced to the final (Diogo Passoa withdrew during the week, and was replaced by┬áSusana Travassos) but only one could go on to represent the nation at Eurovision 2018. In the end the opted for Claudia Pascoal who will sing ‘O Jardim’ in May.

Portugal Announce Acts and Songs for Festival Da Cancao 2018!

Today the broadcaster RTP announced the names of the artists and songs that will compete in the two semi final on 18 February and 25 February.
