June has been so jam-packed with musical goodness that we have had to split our music round up across two parts. This first part includes new songs from Croatia’s Nina Kraljic, new music from Samra, Aminata, Barei, Ani Lorak and Manel Navarro, as well as three new songs from Armenia’s Iveta Mukuchyan including a duet with fellow Depi Evratesil judge Aram MP3, some rock hits from Cyrpus’ Minus One and Romania’s Voltaj and a new solo song from FreakyFortune’s Nikolas Raptakis. Check out the line up below!
Azerbaijan celebrate ten years in the Eurovision this year when DiHaj will represent the asian nation in Kiev. They have an excellent track record in the Contest with all their songs making it to the finals, six top 10 finishes and one win under their belt. To mark their ten year anniversary of great songs, we count down our Top 10: Azerbaijan songs. Find out which song was our favourite!
Over the next nine weeks we will be looking closely at some of the songs released in 2016 by former Eurovision contestants. We will be asking you to vote for your favourite from the lists before compiling a final Top 30 just before the end of the year.
Aram MP3 still most viewed on YouTube
It’s that time of the week again where we take a look at the least and most viewed videos on YouTube. At the top end Aram MP3 still dominates with over 2 million views, while Austria’s Conchita Wurst is catching with also over 2 million hits. Azerbaijan’s ‘Start a Fire’ is now in third and Greece is fourth as both entries hit the 1 million mark. Sanna Nielsen rounds up the top ten, falling three places with ‘Undo’.
