It’s a new week which means it’s time for a new batch of songs competing to be named the best song of 2019! This week’s list of sixteen songs include hits from previous winners Netta (Israel, 2018) and Conchita (Austria, 2014), as well as new tracks from the likes of Cascada, Guy Sebastian, Hatari, Jedward, Benjamin Ingrosso and Waylon. It’s the second week of our latest feature to find out the Top 30 songs released by former Eurovision stars in 2017. Again this week we take you through fourteen of the biggest hits of 2017 and ask you to vote for your three favourites from the bunch!
Moldova had a massive amount of songs to choose from in the national selection final. The trouble was, none of them were any good. All the entrants either couldn’t hold a note, were tone deaf, had an awful song, had no charisma or a combination of all the above. In the end they opted for the best of a bad bunch Lidia Isac’s ‘Falling Stars’.
Belfast gay bar the Kremlin will play host to 2013 German Eurovision representative Cascada. The show will take place on 6th February on the venue’s Red Square stage and will see singer Natalie Horler perform the band’s back catalogue of hits that include ‘Evacuate the Dancefloor’, ‘Everytime We Touch’, cover of Savage Garden song ‘Truly, Madly Deeply’ and of course Eurovision song ‘Glorious’.
