Melfest is the Swedish selection show for Eurovision. It has a special place in every Eurofan’s heart. The schlager hit factory has been responsible for launching the careers of superstars like ABBA, Carola, Loreen, Mans Zelmerlow and Sanna Nielsen. A mainstay of the Eurovision calendar, the TV singing competition is set to be immortalised with a new Hall of Fame which will be launched by broadcaster SVT next month.
