Serbia’s Beovizija competition came to a close this evening with its final show. Tonight seventeen acts have battled it out in a bid to be named the country’s Eurovision representative for 2018. Serbia has opted for Sanja Ilic & Balkanika. They will sing the song ‘Nova deca’ in Lisbon in May.

We’ve been waiting quite some time on an update from Serbia about their plans for their 2018 Eurovision selection plans. Despite rumours of a move from an internal selection to a national final as early as October 2017, it wasn’t until a few months later that these were confirmed to be true.
