Review: Australia- Guy Sebastian ‘Tonight Again’

This year marked an historic decision from the EBU to allow Australia compete in Eurovision Song Contest in a one off to commemorate 60 years of the competition and to reward the continued support from Australia’s dedicated fan base. Rumours quickly circulated as to which act would be chosen to represent Australia and names being touted included Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, Holly Valance, drag queen Courtney Act, Savage Garden frontman Darren Hayes and 2014 semi final interval act Jessica Mauboy. In the end it was announced that the first ever winner of Australian Idol, Guy Sebastian would be Australia’s pick and ‘Tonight Again’ would be the song of choice. Guy Sebastian Reveals ‘Tonight Again’ for Australia

While we learnt a few weeks ago that it would be Guy Sebastian representing Australia in their first ever Eurovision Song Contest, we were all wondering what song he would choose. Australia pick Guy Sebastian for Eurovision

Australia have just revealed that their first ever artist to represent them at Eurovision will be first ever Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian. The song has not yet been chosen, but could potentially be a song not previously released from his album which came out late last year after the deadline for entries in November.

Guy Sebastian has said at the press conference that he would like to either do something fun or a big ballad that would showcase his voice.
