SVT Announces Line Up For Melfest 2019!


Melfest is one of the most anticipated Eurovision selections of the season. The presenting line up was announced last month (Eric Saade, Sarah Dawn Finer, Kodjo Akolor and Marika Carlsson) and rumours have been rife as to which acts would compete in this year’s contest. Today’s announcement puts all those rumours to bed. Jon Henrik Fjallgren advances to Melodifestivalen final along with Isa from Heat 3.

Tonight saw the third heat of Sweden’s Melodifestivalen. The show kicked off as always with a song and dance number from hosts Sanna Nielsen and Robin Paulsson who this week were accompanied by a hipster with a top knot and guitar and a harmonica lady. The quartet began their performance back stage with what I assume was a parody song, however when they made their way into the studio they were welcomed with silver pom poms and pink feather boas and broke into some Avicii.
