FiK58, the Albanian Eurovision selection show for 2020 will kick off with two semi finals on 19 and 20 December followed by the Final on 22 December. 20 participants will compete over the three shows over the festive period and today the Albanian broadcaster RTSH gave us a preview of the songs.
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place on Sunday 24 November in Poland’s Gliwice Arena. The show will be hosted by last year’s winner Roksana Wegiel as well as Ida Nowakowska and Aleksander Sikora. It will feature nineteen songs and we take a look at the contenders, ranking them from our least favourite to our favourite.
It’s a new week which means it’s time for a new batch of songs competing to be named the best song of 2019! This week’s list of sixteen songs include hits from previous winners Netta (Israel, 2018) and Conchita (Austria, 2014), as well as new tracks from the likes of Cascada, Guy Sebastian, Hatari, Jedward, Benjamin Ingrosso and Waylon. Eurovision 2019 continued with the second of its live Semi Finals tonight. Only ten of the eighteen participants could make it through to Saturday’s final. Find out who made the cut!
This day next week will see the second live show for Eurovision 2019. The Second Semi Final is set to air on 16 May 2019 at 8pm GMT. Having seen the first rehearsals, I am ready to make my predictions as to which 10 of the 18 contenders will earn a place in the final.
Over the weekend all seventeen songs from Semi Final 1 took to the stage for the first time. Yesterday the rehearsals moved to the acts in Semi Final 2 and today the remaining acts from Semi Two gave us a sneak peek at their staging for Eurovision 2019.
