It’s getting to that time of year when thousands of students up and down the country will be starting their university courses for the first time. To kick things off in style, Queen’s University Belfast Students’ Union will throw a jepic party in Mandela Hall to welcome all their first year students at their Freshers’ Ball on 29th September.
Montenegro have not had the best track record at Eurovision. In the six years they have competed to date only one of the acts (last year’s ‘Moj Svijet’ by Sergej Ćetković) has managed to qualify for the final and gave Montenegro their best ever result, finishing in 19th place. This year they are back and are hoping to build on their best result so far with veteran Montenegrin pop star Knez. Read on to find out what we think of their song for 2015 ‘Adio’.
Oh Portugal. Where did it all go wrong? I don’t have a huge amount of positive things I can say about the Portuguese entry for this year. ‘Quero Ser Tua’ (or I Want to Be Yours in English) is a very dated piece of average pop music that would not sound out of place at a family disco on holidays at a beach resort in Benidorm in the mid-90’s.
