July ushers in a summer full of new hits from your Eurovision faves. This month we take a look at new tracks from Latvia’s Aminata, everyone’s favourite saxy group Sunstroke Project, Polish butter churner/singer CLEO and Eurovision 2018 alums Lea Sirk (Slovenia), AWS (Hungary) and Sevak Khanagyan (Armenia).
As we move into June we are treated to even more hits from former Eurovision stars. As June saw the opening of the FIFA World Cup we have been inundated with World Cup songs from the likes of Buranovskiye Babushki (aka the Russian Grannies), Armenian singer Iveta Mukuchyan and Malta’s Ira Losco teaming up with Jason Derulo. As well as that we have non-sporting new music from Belorussian 2018 representative Alekseev, Dutch girl band OG3NE and Eurovision 1988 winner and all round legend Celine Dion. Read on to find out what we made of each song!
With the thrill ride that was Eurovision 2018 now over us, we look towards new music from our past contestants. Hot off the heels of their appearance this year, we get new tracks from UK artist SuRie, Italy’s Ermal Meta and Armenian representative Sevak Khanagyan. Also joining the May line up of new music is 2017 Eurovision champ Salvador Sobral, Austria’s Nathan Trent who teams up with J-MOX, Belgian artist Blanche, Sweden’s Robin Bengtsson and a duet from Melfest winner and runner up (and best mates) Benjamin Ingrosso and Felix Sandman.
Next month will see the 2018 edition of Eurovision take place in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon. Ahead of that we look to some of our favourites from past contests to see what they’ve been up to and what new music releases they’ve treated us to this month. Among them are Spanish singers Barei and Manel Navarro as well as new offerings from Tim Schou, Francesco Gabbani, Ira Losco and Fabrizio Faniello. Enjoy!
With selection shows in full swing, we take a break from this year’s Contest and look at the new releases from some of our favourite singers from the past few years. February sees new releases from former winner Jamala, as well as France’s Amir, Armenia’s Iveta Mukuchyan, Croatian Jacques Houdek and a duet between Norwegian producer JOWST and last year’s runner up Kristian Kostov.
