Eurovision NI’s World Cup 2020: Quarter Finals Results!

This week, eight songs competed in the Quarter Finals of the Eurovision NI’s World Cup 2020 in the hopes of making it to next week’s Semi Finals. There were only four spots in the next round. Read on for the results!

The first match up saw Norway’s Ulrikke triumph over Malta’s Destiny. The Norwegian song ‘Attention’ received 61.11% of the vote to ‘All of My Love”s 38.89%. Norway advance to the semis where they will take on Italy’s Diodato who was triumphant over Israel’s Eden Alene. The Italian song ‘Fai Rumore’ received 55% of the vote to Israel’s 45% for ‘Feker Libi’.

Iceland were victorious over Ireland in the Quarter Finals. Dadi Freyr’s song ‘Think About Things’ received 54.76% of the vote to Lesley Roy’s 45.24%. Iceland will advance to the Semi Final round where they will take on Gjon’s Tears who won for Switzerland against Germany’s Ben Dolic this week. The Swiss song received 55.17% of the vote to Germany’s 44.83%

Match 2: Ireland v. Iceland

Lesley Roy- ‘Story of My Life’ (Ireland) 45.24% v. Dadi Freyr- ‘Think About Things’ (Iceland) 54.76%


Match 3: Israel v Italy

Eden Alene- ‘Feker Libi’ (Israel) 45% v. Diodato- ‘Fai Rumore’ (Italy) 55%


Match 4: Switzerland v Germany

Ben Dolic- ‘Violent Thing’ (Germany) 44.83% v. Gjon’s Tears- ‘Repondez Moi’ (Switzerland) 55.17%
