Cyprus have become the fourth country to choose their act for Eurovision 2020. Broadcaster CyBC confirmed the rumours today that the Voice of Germany singer Alessandro Rütten aka Sandro will represent them in Rotterdam in May.
Sandro brings an international flair to the Contest. He was born in Germany to an American father and Greek mother and speaks German, English and Greek. He is no stranger to music competitions, having taken part in Germany’s Got Talent, the Voice of Germany and US song Contest New Wave.
CyBC are holding out a bit longer on revealing the song that Sandro will sing at Eurovision. Until then check out his version of Shawn Mendes’ In My Blood.
