Melfest Artists and Song Titles for 2020 Revealed!

Melfest is one of the most highly anticipated competitions of the Eurovision selection season. Today the Swedish broadcaster SVT announced the 28 artists and song titles for the 2020 contest.

Melfest 2020 will be hosted by Lina Hedlund, David Sundin and Linnea Henriksson and will once again be contested over six weeks from the start of February. Six different cities playing host to the four heats, the second chance show and the live final which as always will be held in Stockholm’s Friends Arena. Today the organisers revealed the full line up of artists and song titles in a live event broadcast on the Melfest Instagram account. Check out the line up below!

1 Feb- Heat 1- Saab Arena (Linköping)

Felix Sandman- ‘Boys with Emotions’

22 Feb- Heat 4- Malmö Arena (Malmö)

Ellen Benediktson & Simon Peyron- ‘Surface’

29 Feb- Second Chance- Stiga Sports Arena (Eskilstuna)

The 8 songs that finish third and fourth in each of the heats will be given a second chance in this show to qualify for the final.

7 Mar- Final- Friends Arena (Stockholm)

8 artists will qualify directly from the 4 heats plus an additional 4 artists from the second chance show.
