Jenny Ryan aka the Vixen from ITV’s quiz show ‘the Chase’ has proven herself to be quite the contender on the celebrity version of singing competition the ‘X-Factor’. This weekend the show saw the seven remaining celebrities battle it out for a place in the top six.
To date Jenny has covered Conchita Wurst’s ‘Rise Like a Phoenix’, Shirley Bassey’s ‘This is My Life’ and particularly impressed last week with Lady Gaga’s ‘Edge of Glory’. This week Ryan returned to Eurovision for inspiration and covers Loreen’s ‘Euphoria’. This wasn’t Jenny’s only call out to Eurovision. She donned a Kate Miller Heidke-esque crown during her performance.
Jenny went straight through to next week’s show along with Max and Harvey, Try Star, V5 and Megan McKenna. Meanwhile Glee’s Kevin McHale and footballer come actor Vinnie Jones placed in the bottom two in the public vote and had to perform again. Vinnie Jones requested to withdraw from the contest, but after Nicole Scherzinger (Vinnie Jones) and Louis Walsh (Kevin McHale) saved their own acts, Simon refused his request and instead chose to send Kevin McHale home.
