Eesti Laul 2020 Line Up Revealed!

Eesti Laul 2020 is the 12th year that the televised contest will act as the process for choosing the Estonian artist and song for the Eurovision Song Contest. It will feature 24 acts across two semi finals. These will be held on 13 and 15 February at the University of Tartu Sports Hall. Half of the songs will advance to the final which will take place on 29 February 29 in Saku Suurhall. All shows will be hosted by Karl-Erik Taukar and Tõnis Niinemets. On November 13 2019 broadcaster ERR announced the first twelve acts competing in this year’s competition and yesterday they completed the line up with another 12.

Among the competing acts are a few familiar names. This includes Laura Poldvere who had teamed up with Koit Toome for Estonia’s 2017 attempt ‘Verona’ and Uku Suviste who returns for a third year. The songwriting teams see last year’s representative Victor Crone collaborate with 2015 singer Stig Rasta for the song ‘Üks kord veel’ which will be performed by Traffic.
