It’s Sarah McTernan for Ireland!

Ireland have uncharacteristically made us wait for the announcement of their Eurovision entry in 2019. It wasn’t until last week that we even had a date in the diary for the big reveal. Leaving it to the last possible moment has its upsides as they have perfectly built suspense and had many speculating for months as to who the big name would be. Today the suspense came to a head when broadcaster RTE revealed that it would be Sarah McTernan representing them in Tel Aviv.

RTE continued to gift us with Eurovision news. Not only did they reveal the artist for 2019 but they also debuted the song. The song they will sing is called ’22’ and you can listen to it below and let us know what you think!

    • I like the song. It’s not going to win by any means but it’s nice to see that rte have gone for something that isn’t a male ballad for a change. It stands a chance of qualifying. Only issue is that semi 2 first half is full of female performers. Hard to stand out.
