Eurovision 2019 Semi Final Allocation Draw Takes Place

Earlier today Lisbon officially handed over Eurovision hosting duties to Tel Aviv. In an event that took place at Tel Aviv’s former City Hall, the host city insignia handover ceremony took place, but more importantly we now know which countries will compete in which of the semi finals when Israel hosts the 2019 Contest later this year.

As always the Big Five (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and United Kingdom) and host country (Israel) automatically qualify for the Grand Final which this year will be held on 18 May.

Prior to the final, the 36 countries will compete for the remaining 20 spots in the final in the two semi final shows on 14 and 16 May. Today we found out which countries will compete in each semi. Full list below:
