In 2019 Australia will host their first ever Eurovision selection show and it seems they’re pulling out all the stops. Earlier this month broadcaster SBS announced the first four of acts that would take part in their live show in the Gold Coast in February. This included Kate Miller-Heidke, Sheppard, Mark Vincent and Electric Fields. As promised, more acts have been added to the roster and today we got another three joining the contest.
The new acts joining Australia Decides are RuPaul’s Drag Race favourite and Celebrity Big Brother winner Courtney Act who will compete with her new song ‘Fight For Love’, charismatic pop star Aydan, and the judges’ wild card pick 16 year old singer-songwriter Leea Nanos. It was also confirmed today that another three acts will be added to the competition at a later date, bringing the total to ten.
Australia Decides is shaping up nicely. What do you make of the new additions?
