Big Five Nations Draw Running Spots for Final

Six nations automatically qualify for the Eurovision final. This is the host nation Portugal and the so-called ‘Big Five’ nations; France, Spain, Germany, Italy and United Kingdom. Portugal, as hosts got to choose the slot they would perform in at the final and last month chose number 8 spot. Today the Big Five took part in the draw to find out which half of the final they would compete in.

Four of the Big Five will perform in the first half of the Final. This includes Spain, France, Germany and UK. Italy meanwhile will compete in the second half of the show.

Running Order Draw Eurovision Final 2018

Claudia Pascoal- ‘O Jardim’ (Portugal): 8th

Alfred y Amaia- ‘Tu Cancion’ (Spain): First Half

Michael Schulte- ‘You Let Me Walk Alone’ (Germany): First Half

Madame Monsieur- ‘Mercy’ (France): First Half

SuRie- ‘Storm’ (United Kingdom): First Half

Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro- ‘No Mi Avete Fatto Niente’ (Italy): Second Half

10 acts of each of the semi finals will qualify for the final on Tuesday and Thursday. They will also take part in a draw to find out which half of the Final they will perform in. The national broadcaster RTP will then decide on the final running order for all countries.
