Traditional folk/jazz band Group Iriao will take the helm for Georgia at Eurovision 2018. The band have finally revealed their song for the contest. Have they saved the best for last? Their song is called ‘Sheni gulistvis’ (‘For You’) and you can check it out below:
The Irish representative for Eurovision 2018 Ryan O’Shaughnessy has caused some controversy with a tweet he published yesterday. The tweet in question claims that Russia have tried to ban the music video for his Eurovision song ‘Together’ due to its inclusion of two men dancing together.
Today Portuguese broadcaster RTP revealed the names of the acts who will perform at the interval in the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest when it takes place in Lisbon in May.
Now that all the songs have been confirmed (well, we’re still waiting on Georgia’s) the class of Eurovision 2018 have started to film and debut their music videos. Many of these have been made available for the first time this week. This includes Netta Barzilai- ‘Toy’ (Israel), Christabelle- ‘Taboo’ (Malta), Madame Monsieur- ‘Mercy’ (France), DoReDos- ‘My Lucky Day’ (Moldova), Alfred and Amaia- ‘Tu Canción’ (Spain), Vanja Radovanovic- ‘Inje’ (Montenegro).
