Croatia have revealed today that their representative for Eurovision 2018 will be the singer Franka. But that’s not all. The broadcaster HRT have also revealed that she will sing the song ‘Crazy’ in Lisbon.
The singer has been working with acclaimed composer Branimir Mihaljevic on the song. Mihaljevic is the brains behind other Eurovision hits such as ‘Lako je sve’ by Femminem, the 2010 entry for Croatia.
This is not the first time that Franka has been linked to Eurovision. On two previous occasions the singer competed in the Croatian selection show Dora. She finished 7th in 2009 with ‘Pjesma za kraj’ and in 2010, she finished eighth with ‘Na tvojim rukama’.
Recently Franka has taken part in a number of TV reality competitions including the Croatia version of Dancing with the Stars in 2009 and made a welcomed comeback to music in 2017 with new single ‘S tobom’ which peaked at number three on the Croatian chart.
What do you make of Croatia’s choice for Eurovision 2018? Can they make it to the Grand Final for the third year in a row?
