It’s Rasmussen for Denmark at Eurovision 2018!

Danish broadcaster DR staged the live final of DMGP, their Eurovision selection show for 2018, earlier this evening. Ten acts were in the running, but Denmark chose Rasmussen and their song ‘Higher Ground’ for Lisbon in May.The 48th edition of the competition took place in Aalborg’s Gigantium Stadium and was hosted by Annette Heick and Johannes Nymark. Ten songs will competed in the final, following the first round of voting (a combination of jury and televote) three acts advanced to the super final (Rasmussen, Albin Fredy and Anna Ritsmar). Of the three acts in the superfinal, Rasmussen was crowned the winner. Check out the full results below:

1st Rasmussen- ‘Higher Ground’ (50%)


2nd Anna Dilsmar- ‘Starlight’ (31%)


3rd Albin Fredy- ‘Music for the Road’ (19%)

Ditte Marie- ‘Riot’

Carlsen- ‘Standing Up for Love’

Karui- ‘Signals’

Lasse Meling- ‘Unfound’

Rikke Ganer Tolsoe- ‘Holder fast i ingentig’

Sandra- ‘Angels to my Battlefield’

Sannie- ‘Boys on Girls’
